to announce our annual

Young Artist Competition

ELIGIBILITY Students age 18 or younger (as of 12/31/11).

REPERTOIRE Any movement of a large scale work for solo instrument/voice and orchestra.

Playing from memory is recommended but not required.

Piano accompaniment is recommended but not required.  Contestants must arrange for their own piano accompaniment.

AWARDS Winners will receive a scholarship to help fund further musical study.
Winners will be invited to perform with the Metrowest Symphony Orchestra at its MSO Family Concert on March 18, 2012.

There is a $20 non-refundable application fee, payable to the Metrowest Symphony Orchestra.

All applications must be post marked by January 14, 2012.
